La trayectoria de Joshua es verdaderamente excepcional. Comenz\u00f3 sus estudios en el Instituto Montana en 2017 como alumno interno en la escuela primaria. Lleg\u00f3 a los 12 a\u00f1os sin saber alem\u00e1n, pero destac\u00f3 gracias a su dedicaci\u00f3n y trabajo duro, con el apoyo de la comunidad de la escuela, y termin\u00f3 sus estudios en el Swiss Gymnasium con gran \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La elecci\u00f3n del Institut Montana fue pura coincidencia, ya que Joshua inicialmente ten\u00eda pensado asistir a la escuela secundaria en Estados Unidos. Luego, la familia se top\u00f3 con una presentaci\u00f3n de internados suizos y al instante se enamor\u00f3 de Montana. La proximidad a la naturaleza, la ubicaci\u00f3n central y la oportunidad de aprender alem\u00e1n fueron factores atractivos. Despu\u00e9s de visitar la escuela, la familia de Joshua estaba convencida de que Montana podr\u00eda ser su hogar durante muchos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dejar China y a su familia para empezar a estudiar en el Instituto Montana fue un momento desalentador para este chico de 12 a\u00f1os. \u201cAl principio, fue un desaf\u00edo porque extra\u00f1aba mi hogar\u201d, recuerda. \u201cPor suerte, mis nuevos amigos me consolaron y mis padres de acogida siempre estuvieron ah\u00ed para ofrecerme apoyo. Estoy agradecido por el ambiente alentador que tuve en Montana, que me ayud\u00f3 enormemente durante mis primeros d\u00edas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshua expres\u00f3 su gratitud por el apoyo de Montana durante todo su recorrido, desde aprender alem\u00e1n desde cero hasta graduarse con \u00e9xito despu\u00e9s de seis a\u00f1os en el Swiss Gymnasium. \u201cEl entorno de aprendizaje inmersivo de la escuela fue incre\u00edblemente \u00fatil para aprender alem\u00e1n\u201d, se\u00f1ala. Con lecciones impartidas en alem\u00e1n, admiti\u00f3 que estuvo expuesto diariamente al idioma y pudo aprender bastante r\u00e1pido. Montana siempre ha sido un espacio seguro donde pod\u00eda cometer errores sin miedo al rid\u00edculo o al juicio. Joshua, que creci\u00f3 en el seno de su familia, lleg\u00f3 a Suiza como hablante fluido de este idioma. Sin embargo, se consideraba afortunado, ya que durante sus a\u00f1os en Swiss Gymnasium. \u201cTuve el privilegio de que la Sra. Verhar me ense\u00f1ara ingl\u00e9s e historia. Sus clases eran exigentes y requer\u00edan un esfuerzo y una preparaci\u00f3n considerables. Sin embargo, mis esfuerzos fueron definitivamente bien recompensados. Con su ayuda, he podido mejorar sustancialmente mi nivel de ingl\u00e9s y he aprendido a interpretar y apreciar la literatura inglesa. La Sra. Verhar no solo me ha ense\u00f1ado habilidades espec\u00edficas de la materia, sino que tambi\u00e9n ha moldeado mi visi\u00f3n del mundo como persona a trav\u00e9s de la literatura\u201d, agreg\u00f3 Joshua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La vida en Montana como estudiante internado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vivir en el Institut Montana fue como vivir en un segundo hogar para Joshua. Expres\u00f3 que la comunidad de internados se hab\u00eda convertido en su segundo hogar. Se sinti\u00f3 bienvenido, aceptado y apoyado por los padres de la casa en el Institut Montana. \u201cA lo largo de los a\u00f1os, hemos podido crear profundas conexiones personales que valoro profundamente. Con mis padres de la casa, el Sr. Probst, el Sr. Barche, el Sr. Heine y la Sra. Hansen, pude hablar de casi cualquier cosa, desde viajes hasta pol\u00edtica y la escuela. Estaban all\u00ed para animarme cuando estaba deprimido y celebraban mis logros\u201d. 

Tambi\u00e9n expres\u00f3 su gratitud por todo el apoyo de la Sra. Chang, directora del internado, con quien a veces se cruzaba cuando hac\u00eda sus paseos nocturnos. Ahora, como estudiante que se grad\u00faa y se muda a la universidad, le recuerda mucho haber dejado su hogar en Shangh\u00e1i para comenzar sus estudios en el Instituto Montana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s de lo acad\u00e9mico, a Joshua le apasiona la programaci\u00f3n, especialmente Python. \u201cEntiendo que muchas personas puedan considerar esto como una actividad acad\u00e9mica, pero para m\u00ed es un pasatiempo que disfruto profundamente\u201d. Todav\u00eda nos mantenemos en contacto y hablamos de f\u00edsica y qu\u00edmica. \u201cLas clases de la Sra.
